The El Cerrito Library Foundation is pleased to announce a new member of our Board of Directors, Ms. Golddie Williams. We believe that her years of service as the founder and CEO of a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion consulting firm as well as her many years of community service with various organizations in West Contra Costa County, will improve our ability to advocate for a new, modern library for El Cerrito and to support our current library.
Golddie Williams is a seasoned Human Resources Leader with 31 years of experience. She is a Certified Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Practitioner.
She is the head of AGW Consulting Group, a human resources firm that focuses on DEI work. Golddie has dedicated over 15 years to diversity work. With a “Black Belt” in Conflict Resolution, she is not afraid to hold challenging discussions and go deeper into changing systems and practices that prevent the richness of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Golddie is certified in professional leadership development, honored by the Harvard Leadership Development Program and the STAR Leadership of Kaiser Permanente and certified by the Cornell University, Diversity, and Inclusion program.
Golddie is also the CEO of GOT GOALS! Inc. A youth and family motivational and empowerment organization.
In addition to serving as a Board Member of the El Cerrito Library Foundation, she is currently an active board member of the Bay Area Girls Club in Richmond, former Co-Chair of the African American Site Advisory Team in West Contra Costa Unified School District, and Board of Trustees for the Africa Entrepreneurs Network, South Africa.
Golddie, a community educator, motivational speaker and published author, is also a proud mother of 3 and grandmother of two.
